TM TAJ MAHALSlab Manufacturer

The factory

Who actually makes your slabs

Taj Mahal Slab is a brand of Dawson Stone and Cabinet. We have been cutting and finishing stone since 2009 — four production lines across two facilities, and no middleman between you and production.

We are the factory, not a trading desk

A lot of stone sold online is brokered: the seller has no saw, no polishing line and no control over what actually arrives at your port. Taj Mahal Slab is a brand of Dawson Stone and Cabinet, and we have been cutting and finishing stone since 2009. When you ask us whether a bundle is in stock, the answer comes from our own yard rather than a supplier we have never met.

Where we produce

We run two production bases. The first is in Shuitou Town in China, the stone-processing centre where the majority of the world's slab trade is cut, finished and packed. The second is in Rayong, Thailand, which gives customers a second production base for programmes that need one.

Between them, our four production lines handle cutting, polishing, honing, leathering, edge work, quality inspection and export packing. Slabs are bundled into reinforced A-frame packs, braced inside the container, and loaded under our own supervision before the container is sealed.

Quality control

Every bundle is inspected before it is packed. That inspection covers the things that actually cause claims at destination: surface defects, resin-filled areas, thickness tolerance, edge damage and flatness. SGS test reports are available on request for buyers who need third-party documentation for their own customers or customs.

We also photograph and video the specific bundle you are buying, before it ships. Natural stone varies slab to slab, so approving a bundle from photography is the only reliable way to know what you are getting — and it gives you something concrete to approve internally.

How we work

  • Minimum order: one 20ft container. You can mix colours, sizes and thicknesses inside it.
  • Terms: FOB or CIF, depending on how much of the freight and insurance you would rather control.
  • Lead time: confirmed per order, because it depends on whether you are taking stock bundles or waiting on production.
  • Delivery: port-to-port or delivered to your warehouse, whichever suits your clearance setup.

Why we don't publish prices

Slab pricing depends on the specific bundle, the thickness, the finish and the freight lane — a price list would be wrong more often than it would be right. Tell us what you need and we will quote your container against real stock.

Talk to us

Sales is handled directly by Mark Liu, who has worked the export side of this business for years and will tell you honestly when a bundle is not worth buying.
